Why We Love This Deal
Lately, I’ve been in DIY project mode, trying to knock out a few to-dos (like building a workbench and an enclosure to keep squirrels out of my vegetable garden) before snow falls. That’s making me reassess my tool lineup, and it’s why a quality cordless circular saw is at the top of my wishlist. I’m about ready to pull the trigger on this Amazon deal: DeWalt’s acclaimed 6.5-inch circular saw just dropped below $100.
Amazon is selling DeWalt’s 20V Max 6½-inch Circular Saw (currently the retailer’s No. 1 bestselling circular saw) for just $99, a 38% discount and the best price anywhere online. It matches the price at Lowe’s, and it beats the prices at hardware retailers like Home Depot and Tractor Supply Co.

What Shoppers Should Know
- Tool Series: DeWalt 20V Max
- Saw Size: 6.5 inches
- Bevel: 0-50 degrees
- Battery Included: No
With its 6.5-inch blade, this circular saw is a more compact option than the 7.25-inch blades found on some handheld circular saws. It has all the basic features you need for general-purpose DIY use, including bevel settings from 0 to 50 degrees, and its lightweight design makes it easy to handle, especially when making repeated cuts.
While this model doesn’t have an upgraded brushless motor, reviewers reported no issues with power. The key is to get a higher-capacity battery (like a 6Ah unit) to ensure you get enough oomph and runtime to tackle bigger projects.
Overall, though, this is a stellar option for DIYers and home hobbyists—it’s affordable, easy to use, and provides excellent performance for light-duty tasks. Want more power? Consider leveling up to DeWalt’s brushless 7.25-inch circular saw, now 27% off on Amazon.
What Shoppers Are Saying
One reviewer who has worked in construction for decades—and used all kinds of saws—called this DeWalt model a “professional quality” tool and was really impressed with its smooth, powerful motor. Shoppers also noted that it’s “light and extremely portable,” and thanks to its punchy motor, “cutting a straight line is effortless.”
Amazon’s limited-time deal won’t last forever, so toss a DeWalt circular saw in your cart today before this 38% markdown expires.
