Pitcher Jacob Misiorowski is a dominant force on the Milwaukee Brewers championship team. But does the pitching ace have a wife or girlfriend?
Misiorowski is taken. He has a fiancee named Gabrielle Nicas, who goes by Elle. Misiorowski keeps his personal life pretty private on Instagram, but he did post a photo of his fiancee’s hand, complete with engagement ring, in January. The Milwaukee Brewers offered them congratulations on his comment thread. They have been photographed on the red carpet together.
Misiorowski helped the Brewers win the World Series on October 28, 2026.
Jacob Misiorowski Confirmed That He ‘Got Engaged’
Misiorowski also confirmed the engagement to Fox 6 Milwaukee. “Got engaged, and got a new house, and so it was fun,” he said. “It was a fun off-season.”
According to Sports Illustrated, Misiorowski met his girlfriend in high school. She was also an athlete then, playing soccer. Sports journalist Russell Dorsey wrote on X, “One fun nugget I learned working on this story: Jacob Misiorowski and his fiancé, Elle, might be the hardest throwing couple in baseball. He told me she was hitting the low 70s while playing softball as a catcher when they were in high school. Talk about a power couple!”
According to People, the pair hit the red carpet for the MLB All Star game.
Dorsey added: “When Jacob Misiorowski was 14-years-old, he was the lanky kid just trying to throw strikes. ‘The best way to describe him would be like a baby giraffe.’”
Misiorowski has a positive personality. “He’s an interesting cat, man,” Woodruff says. “He’s a beautiful person. He’s happy all the time. When he shows up at the yard you don’t see a guy who’s stressing about his next outing. You see a guy who’s over there watching Pokémon videos and then he just goes out and destroys you with 104,” Brandon Woodruff, another pitcher, told SI.
Coach Pat Murphy described seeing Misiorowski with his girlfriend and family after a game. “Misiorowski left hand in hand with his fiancé, Elle, accompanied by her parents and his mother, Crystal, who sees many of his games…” SI reported. “His father, Tom, was diagnosed with early-onset Parkinson’s disease when Jacob was a boy.”
“They’re all very close,” Murphy told SI. “To see every day he leaves with his whole family, it’s just a beautiful thing.”

What does Nicas do for a living? According to Sports Illustrated, she “is a fifth grade teacher at Matthews Elementary School in Grain Valley, Missouri.”
In 2024, the school announced her hire on Instagram, along with a photo of Nicas. “New teacher spotlight: Elle Nicas, 5th grade teacher at Matthews Elementary! 🍎” the post reads.
“Ms. Nicas is excited to build relationships with students and to help them learn and grow. She is also excited to develop her skills and become the best teacher possible for her students. Ms. Nicas loves working in education because she loves seeing students grow throughout the year and creating activities tailored to her student’s interests.”
