The Kansas City Chiefs are 5-0 and looking to remain unbeaten heading into Week 7 of the NFL season when they travel to Seattle for a primetime game against the Seahawks on Sunday night.
Kansas City has been monitoring veteran tight end Travis Kelce’s status all week after he tweaked his ankle in the first quarter against the Los Angeles Chargers.
He stayed in the game, but he was in enough pain to have his ankle taped. He has also been limited in practice on Thursday and Friday.
However, for a veteran like Kelce, a limited practice can be enough to get ready for game day. Chiefs fans won’t have to worry about his status for Sunday anymore, as Kansas City officially removed him from the injury report, signaling that he’s good to go against Seattle barring an unforeseen setback over the 24-48 hours leading up to kickoff.
Travis Kelce (ankle) was limited at Friday’s practice but does not have an injury designation for Week 7.

Kelce on Verge of Making NFL History
In his 14th NFL season, all of which have come with the Chiefs, Kelce has already cemented himself as a first-ballot Hall of Famer.
However, he’s on the verge of one of his biggest personal accomplishments, which he could achieve Sunday night.
With 35 receiving yards against Seattle, Kelce will surpass the great Tony Gonzalez (15,413 receiving yards) for the most receiving yards by a tight end, including the postseason, in NFL history.
He’s also just three receptions away from surpassing Marvin Harrison and Cris Carter to crack the top five on the NFL’s all-time receptions list.
This season, Kelce has remained a productive target for quarterback Patrick Mahomes. He enters Week 7 with 20 receptions on 27 targets for 299 yards and two touchdowns.
