Jason and Travis Kelce are taking tailgating to a whole new level. Their beer brand, Garage Beer, is preparing to host a wedding at a Philadelphia Eagles tailgate, complete with celebrity guests, live entertainment, and plenty of beer. The celebration comes as the brothers’ growing business secures a major financial boost.
On October 26, Garage Beer and True Fan Tailgate will host what they’re calling the “Tailgate Wedding of the Century” in Philadelphia, giving one selected couple the opportunity to exchange vows surrounded by football fans and a distinctly Philly-style celebration.
The unusual event is the latest example of how Garage Beer is using the Kelce brothers’ personalities and connections to football culture to build its identity beyond the beverage itself.
Former Eagles defensive tackle Beau Allen, who has appeared in several Garage Beer advertisements alongside Jason Kelce, is among the celebrity guests expected to attend. The celebration will also feature performances by Delco Donny and Philly Pops, along with food prepared using Kingsford charcoal grills.
Naturally, Garage Beer Classic and Garage Beer Lime will be part of the festivities.
The couple will also receive a $2,000 gift card toward wedding rings from Philadelphia jeweler Steven Singer and a honeymoon at Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey, courtesy of Garage Beer.
While the wedding might sound like another outrageous stunt from the Kelce brothers, it arrives during a significant period of growth for their beverage company.
On October 13, Garage Beer secured a $20 million financing deal with Tiger Finance to support the brand’s expansion into new markets and the development of additional products.
The Columbus, Ohio-based beer brand has been led by Andy Sauer since 2023. Jason and Travis joined the company as co-owners and operators in June 2024, bringing their considerable name recognition and devoted fan bases into the business.
In September 2025, Durational Capital Management announced a strategic investment partnership with Garage Beer, setting the stage for its latest financing agreement.
“We appreciate Tiger’s creativity and partnership to structure a credit facility that leverages the strength of Garage Beer’s brand to support the Company’s growth objectives,” Patrick Khayat, co-founder of Durational Capital Management, said in a statement.
Khayat added that the financing would help the company expand its product lineup and reach new markets.
Tiger Finance also acknowledged the impact of the Kelce brothers’ involvement in building the brand’s visibility.
“We have the highest confidence in Durational’s ability to further the growth and scale of the business and are impressed with impact the Kelce brothers have had on positively influencing brand awareness,” Andy Cerussi, senior managing director at Tiger Finance, said in a statement.
That brand awareness has been fueled in part by Garage Beer’s unconventional approach to marketing, which frequently incorporates comedy, sports personalities, and elaborate promotional videos.
Earlier this year, Jason Kelce and Beau Allen appeared in a Western-inspired Garage Beer commercial titled “Brotherly Shovel,” featuring the former NFL players shoveling manure while promoting the beer.
The brand has also experimented with longer comedic productions, including Brewmite II, a 17-minute promotional film that blurred the line between traditional advertising and entertainment.
For Jason Kelce, the approach reflects a belief that beer marketing should prioritize humor and the experience of spending time with friends.
“I don’t think we should over-complicate it,” Jason told People in August 2025 while discussing the brand’s advertisements. “When it comes to beer, I think when you’re having fun and you’re being personable, you’re being creative, all the best beer ads I know are fun, creative.”
The upcoming tailgate wedding follows that same philosophy, transforming a football tradition into an unusual promotional event while reinforcing Garage Beer’s ties to Philadelphia.
Although Travis built his NFL career with the Kansas City Chiefs, Jason spent all 13 of his professional seasons with the Eagles, becoming one of the franchise’s most recognizable players and helping the team win Super Bowl LII.
His connection to the city remains central to his public identity, making Philadelphia a fitting setting for Garage Beer’s latest celebration.
The October 26 event also comes less than two weeks after the financing announcement, highlighting the company’s efforts to pair business expansion with attention-grabbing marketing.
With $20 million in new borrowing capacity and an increasingly recognizable celebrity-backed identity, Garage Beer is positioning itself for further growth. And if its latest promotion is any indication, the Kelce brothers aren’t relying on traditional advertising to get there.
For one Philadelphia couple, that means their wedding day will look a lot more like an Eagles tailgate than a traditional walk down the aisle.
