Thanksgiving dinner is typically turkey, comforting side dishes, and a sweet something to finish the meal. This year, Lay’s is introducing those classic flavors to the snack aisle in an exclusive collection inspired by the holiday table. The collection features savory potato chips based on traditional dishes as well as chocolate-flavoured chips for those who prefer dessert.
The collection, called Holi-LAY’S, will be available across the United States from late October to early December. The idea is to give shoppers something different to put on the table at holiday get-togethers, bring to parties, or eat while watching football over the Thanksgiving weekend.

Lay’s Is Bringing Holiday Favorites to the Snack Aisle
The first two flavors will hit stores Oct. 25, when Lay’s will debut Cheddar Scalloped-Style Potatoes and Holiday Turkey chips. Both are inspired by classic Thanksgiving dishes, turning the flavors of a classic holiday meal into a crunchy snack.
Next up are Maple Bacon chips on November 8th. Lay’s describes the flavor as sweet maple and smoky bacon, giving shoppers looking for something other than the typical potato chip varieties another sweet-and-savory option.
And the savory snacks don’t stop there. Lay’s Wavy Milk Chocolate and Wavy Dubai-Style Dark Chocolate will hit select retailers beginning Dec. 1. The company expects these dessert-inspired chips to be available through 2027.
The chocolate flavors may be an interesting addition to a holiday snack spread, especially for people who like to mix sweet and salty flavors. Availability, however, will vary by retailer, so you might not find all flavors in one store.
Lay’s is also linking the launch with a seasonal sweepstakes. Beginning October 26, customers can scan a code on a qualifying snack bag for a chance to win prizes. Entries can also be submitted at HappyHoli-Lays.com. Prizes include chip bowls, a sweater, a multicooker, an oval casserole, a charcuterie set, and a game set.
The collection gives Lay’s another chance to put a holiday spin on an everyday snack. Instead of adding another course to a Thanksgiving menu that’s already full, shoppers can sample flavors inspired by the meal itself. Turkey-flavored chips sound good, or chocolate is more your thing; the seasonal lineup has an unusual option for holiday snacking.
