Lily Allen Leans Into ‘Blue Dot Fever’ Accusations With Perfect Halloween Costume

Lily Allen is never beating the allegations.

Back in July, the singer announced several of the concerts across the United States and Canada in September for her West End Girl tour would be rebooked into smaller venues.

“For Philly, Chicago, LA, San Francisco, Vancouver, we’ve had to make some adjustments. If you’ve already bought tickets to these shows, you will be refunded in 5-7 working days and automatically entered into a presale that goes live July 22, 10AM local,” the singer said in a post on Instagram that revealed her Montreal concert was also canceled.

Allen dramatically downsized her show in Vancouver, which went from the 19,000-seat Rogers Arena to the 2,780-seat historic Orpheum theater. Fans rushed to social media suggesting she was just the latest victim of blue dot fever, a term used to describe the large number of unsold seats displayed as blue dots on ticketing websites for live events.

Allen didn’t dispel the rumor with her latest Halloween costume. The singer repped a skintight outfit showing plenty of left open spaces in a concert venue ahead of the stage, represented by her neckline.

“Never beating the allegations. #bluedotfever,” she said in the caption of the post.

Allen’s tour continues in Pearth, Australia at the RAC Arena over the weekend with a show on Nov. 1 before moving to Brazil in late November.

She was previously nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album for her 2008 Alright, Still, which remains her best-selling album to date.

Allen might not be beating the allegations, but she’s certainly delivering incredible content for her fans.
