Members Only jackets are a thing again, and new Walmart+ and Sam’s Club Plus members looking to reenact or relive the 1980s now have a chance at getting their hands on one.
Beginning yesterday, Oct. 20, consumers can sign up for a combined Walmart+/Sam’s Club Plus membership for $120 a year. New members will then receive an emailed promo code to redeem a complimentary Members Only jacket (unisex sizes S–5XL) while initial limited stock lasts.
“We’re giving people a reason to expect more from their memberships,” said John Furner, Walmart Inc. president and CEO. “For $120 a year, we’re raising expectations for what a membership can deliver: more money in their pockets and more time to call their own.”
To further promote the new membership–and the jackets–Walmart and Sam’s Club enlisted actors Walton Goggins and Jason Sudeikis to star in a campaign spot.

In addition to the opportunity to grab one of the Members Only jacket featured in the video above, new Walmart+ and Sam’s Club Plus members will have access to a number of perks, including:
- Free delivery from Walmart and Sam’s Club
- Choice of Paramount Plus or Peacock
- Gas savings of 10 cents a gallon at more than 17,000 stations
- Sam’s Club Access and 2% Sam’s Cash® on eligible purchases
If you’re already a Walmart+ member, you can switch to Walmart+ with Sam’s Club Plus for an additional $22 per year. If you’re a Sam’s Club member, you can upgrade Sam’s Club Plus for $60 more a year and get Walmart+ included, while current Sam’s Club Plus members can just activate Walmart+ at no extra cost.
