Georgia Air Force 1 and Outkast Collection Release Date

The Georgia Air Force 1 is perfectly suited to the Outkast apparel collection. The colors match, and if you’re from Georgia or Atlanta, the combination probably really resonates with you.

Even without a geographical connection, the shoe delivers on pure eye candy. That all-red Air Force 1 looks spectacular with the Georgia branding on the back.

Match it with some of the apparel in the Outkast collection, and it’s perfect. Let’s talk sneakers.

Where Can You Buy the Nike Georgia Air Force 1?

The Georgia pair is part of Nike’s NCAA Air Force 1 Low pack, alongside Oregon, Kentucky and Texas. It’s priced at $125, with a University Red leather upper and school logos on the lateral heel and tongue label.

Release reports have shifted, but NiceKicks lists Oct. 29 through Nike.com and select retailers.

What’s in the Nike Georgia x Outkast Collection?

The Outkast collection is apparel, not footwear. Nike built it with Outkast, the University of Georgia and Class Trip, drawing on André 3000’s and Big Boi’s personal style and pairing the Georgia G with Outkast’s crown logo.

It launched Oct. 27 on SNKRS, through Class Trip and at select Atlanta retailers, with the full collection on Nike.com Oct. 28. The drop marks the first Georgia-Florida game played in Atlanta, set for Oct. 31 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

What Makes the Georgia Air Force 1 Stand Out?

The texture is what makes this shoe stand apart from other Air Force 1s, especially other collaborations.

I think it’s one of those shoes you’d see in a store and want to run your hand across just to feel the texture, even if you weren’t going to buy it.

Then that Georgia “G” on the back sells it even more.
