Why It’s a Big Deal
Wayfair’s Way Day Sale is live with an armada of deals on living room furniture, mattresses, and even grills. But the sale isn’t just limited to furniture: Wayfair is also marking down a handful of infrared saunas for at-home use. Saunas are typically a very hefty investment, but during this sale, you can get a single-person model for under $1,500, and the retailer will even ship it to you for free.
The Royal Saunas Hongyuan 1-Person Infrared Sauna is on sale for $1,230, a 52% discount on its normal price of $2,617. This compact sauna has earned strong reviews from Wayfair customers who say it’s “amazing” for its easy setup and great functionality. This one also comes in a larger two-person model and is marked down right now to $1,700—a great price for a model of its size.

What to Know Before Buying
This single-person infrared sauna is crafted from 100% Canadian hemlock wood, which gives it a sleek, Nordic-inspired aesthetic and helps it smell great when in use (the wood has a really pleasant scent, according to reviewers). It’s designed for easy assembly—no tools required—and it takes up very little space: It measures 75 inches tall by 39 inches wide and 35 inches deep.
Inside, a single bench seat gives you a place to perch, while the infrared heating elements can heat the unit to about 149 degrees. An interior reading light casts a warm glow for a relaxing sauna experience. While other saunas have extra features like Bluetooth speakers, this straightforward unit offers only the essentials you need, and nothing you don’t.
