The Top 10 Video Games Releasing in November 2026

After more than 13 years, the month has finally arrived. Grand Theft Auto VI is set to release on Nov. 19 for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Its launch announcement created a ripple effect that made August, September, and October some of the busiest months in gaming history. A few brave souls are still releasing titles, however, so with that in mind, let’s dive right in with my top 10 video games that are coming out in November:

10) Mouthwashing/Terrible Lizards/The Wolf Among Us Remastered

I’m cheating a little bit here by including a trio of games that are coming out in the final days of October, but they’re all interesting to me and were missed on the October list. Although Terrible Lizards is the only truly new title here, I’ve been curious about Mouthwashing since it initially launched on PC, and The Wolf Among Us is among Telltale’s best games.

Stellar Blade (Shift Up) on Steam

9) Stellar Blade: Complete Edition

We’re into November now, but I’m starting things with a Nintendo Switch 2 port of 2024’s Stellar Blade. I played it on PS5 and thought it was really good, so I’m glad a new audience is getting the chance to experience it.

8) Hope in the City

I was introduced to Hope in the City at Xbox’s Tokyo Game Show presentation back in September and got drawn in by the visual style. It’s a single-player narrative mystery game that has piqued my interest.

Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School (iam8bit Presents) on Steam

7) Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School

The original Escape Academy was a well-done puzzler, and the sequel promises more of the same in a larger open world.

6) Faraway

Faraway, a minimalist arcade game where you control a shooting star through procedurally generated worlds, looks set to continue my on-again/off-again situationship with Annapurna Interactive.

Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered (Atari) on Steam

5) Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered

A 3D arena brawler starring everyone’s favorite kaiju is getting a remastered version almost a quarter century after its initial release. That speaks to the timelessness of giant monsters punching each other in the face.

4) Warhammer Survivors

You got your Warhammer in my Vampire Survivors. You got your Vampire Survivors in my Warhammer. It’s the mash-up I never knew I needed.

ZERO PARADES: Director's Cut (ZA/UM) on Steam

3) ZERO PARADES: Director’s Cut

A spiritual successor to the excellent Disco Elysium, ZERO PARADES: Director’s Cut is coming to consoles in early November. The original game launched back in May on PC, while the Director’s Cut, which added new story content, gameplay, and technical improvements dropped in October.

2) The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

With GTA VI not coming to the Switch 2, Nintendo decided to release its own killer app with a full remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The 1998 version is considered among the greatest games of all time. We’ll see if the remake can reach those lofty heights.

Grand Theft Auto VI (Rockstar) on Rockstar Games

1) Grand Theft Auto VI

We come to it at last, the great video game release of our time. What’s left to say? Rockstar’s long-awaited GTA VI finally arrives this month, just in time to give us an excuse to avoid family functions this holiday season.
