Many fans want to know whether various players – like William Contreras, Christian Yelich, Brice Turang, Sal Frelick, Jake Bauers, and Jackson Chourio – have a wife or girlfriend. One star player – Contreras – recently proposed to his girlfriend on a flower-strewn beach (you can see the video below). Contreras is a star catcher from Venezuela who has thrilled fans with his play during the season and World Series. He doesn’t have a wife, but he is engaged to his girlfriend Níxzali Adames Luna. She is sister of MLB player Willy Adames, his bio says.
Last winter, she shared a photo and video showing Contreras proposing on a flower-strewn beach. “I said YES! 💍♥️” she wrote. “Thank you for coming into my life and staying forever. I love you.”
A photo she posted showed Contreras on bended knee proposing on the beach. “Let’s be a team all our life ♥️ You with me, me with you and God with us 🤞🏼♥️” she wrote.
Jackson Chourio Has a Girlfriend Named Gabriela Alejandra Palmar Finol, a Law School Grad
Chourio’s girlfriend is named Gabriela Alejandra Palmar Finol.
Her Instagram page is full of glamour shots, but it also contains a photo showing her at a stadium. She is a model and law school graduate who is from Venezuela, according to Sportskeeda. Photos emerged showing them on a “romantic sea getaway.”
Sal Frelick has a Girlfriend Named Kendall Hanlon, a Former Field Hockey Player
According to People, Frelick has a long-term girlfriend named Kendall Hanlon. She is also an athlete who played for the Boston College field hockey team before graduating. The New Jersey native was the team captain, according to her bio.
“Father, John, wrestled at Boston College and was inducted into the Varsity Club Hall of Fame in 1996,” the bio reads.
In 2024, Frelick gave a shout out to Hanlon for her birthday, writing, “Happy birthday to my favorite person in the world! 24 looks good on you ❤️” In September, he posted a collage of photos showing them in Paris, dancing and at other locales.
Christian Yelich Doesn’t Have a Wife, But He’s Dating a Soccer Player Named Paige Almendariz
Brewers star Christian Yelich is not married. However, he also has a girlfriend, and she’s a soccer player for DC Power. Her name is Paige Noel Almendariz.
She confirmed she was dating Yelich with an Instagram post this year. DC Power football page lists her on its roster. In June, she shared photos of how she was enjoying the summer and included a photo of Yelich.
Brice Turang Has a Girlfriend Named Maile Olsen, Who Played College Softball
According to People, Turang has a long time girlfriend named Maile Olsen, whom he’s dated since at least 2021. Like some of the other Brewers’ players’ girlfriends, Olsen is a former college athlete. Turang occasionally posts personal photos on his Instagram page.
She played softball at the University of Nevada before graduating. Her bio there says she is from an athletic family: “Daughter of Katie Olsen and DC Olsen … Has a sister, Karleigh … Father played baseball at Cal State Fullerton where he was part of the National Championship winning team in 1995, later got drafted and played a few years in the minor league. Sister played softball at Utah Valley and graduated in 2022.”
Jake Bauers Is Married to Wife Lauren, Who He Says Supports ‘Me Any Way She Can’
Bauers has spoken about the importance of his wife Lauren to him.
“She’s holding it down at home by herself a lot of the time, which it’s a lot,” he explained during a press conference, according to People. “Those kids, they’re a blessing and we love them, but man, they’re a handful. So for her to do that and for her to allow me the opportunity to come here and keep going and just support me any way she can, it’s been crazy. It’s been crazy to see her growth as a woman and a mom.”
Lauren Bauers has spoken about Jake’s perseverance. He posts photos showing his wife and kids on Instagram. Lauren used to be a teacher. “He wanted to move to Costa Rica,” she revealed of her husband once wanting to walk away from baseball. They were high school sweethearts.
