BTS in Singapore: All the fan events happening this December

BTS may be playing only four nights in Singapore, but fans will get to enjoy a month-long series of activities from Dec 1 to 31.

The Singapore Tourism Board (STB), in partnership with Hybe, the agency that manages the South Korean group, announced on Oct 19 that Singapore will host South-east Asia’s first and only stop of BTS The City Arirang.

It transforms the host city into an immersive experience across multiple precincts, and is set to be the largest islandwide fan activation ever held for any recording artiste here.

The announcement comes ahead of the K-pop group’s highly anticipated concerts on Dec 17, 19, 20 and 22 at the National Stadium, with the band having last performed as a full group here seven years ago.

Highlights of the islandwide experience include:

  • A themed light and music show at Jewel Changi Airport’s Rain Vortex
  • A landmark-themed takeover of Exploria, a new immersive multimedia attraction at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve
  • An Art Trail at National Gallery Singapore, pairing BTS music with Pop After Pop: Art Around Us artwork
  • Themed light and sound installations at the National Museum of Singapore
  • A fireworks display choreographed to the music of BTS, alongside other themed experiences within Universal Studios Singapore at Resorts World Sentosa
  • A rave and drone show set to BTS music, a themed race and immersive installations on Sentosa
  • Interactive experiences across multiple themed zones at The Kallang
  • Opening and closing night takeovers at Zouk Singapore, featuring dedicated music and experiential programming

Landmarks in Marina Bay and along the Singapore River will also be lighting up each night in red, the colour of the Arirang tour, from Dec 8 to 22.

These include popular spots such as Gardens by the Bay, OUE Bayfront, Singapore Flyer, The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, The Helix Bridge and The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore.

The immersive experience was first staged in Seoul in March, and has since been staged in just four cities: Las Vegas, Busan, London and New York.

Oliver Chong, assistant chief executive of STB’s international group, said: “This is the largest citywide destination project we have collaborated on with a partner for any recording artiste, and we are proud to bring this exclusive experience to the region for the first time.

“Hosting the South-east Asian debut of BTS The City Arirang is a testament to our ability to attract some of the world’s most iconic IPs, reinforcing Singapore’s position as a premier destination for world-class live entertainment.”

Singapore will also be the islandwide fan experience’s final stop in 2026, according to Hybe.

“We hope BTS The City Arirang Singapore will offer fans and visitors from around the world a special way to experience and celebrate the music of BTS and close out the year together,” the company said in the statement.

STB added that more details on BTS The City Arirang Singapore will be announced in due course.

All tickets for the group’s Singapore leg of their 2026-2027 Arirang world tour, which were on sale in phases from June 3 to 5, are sold out.

The tour was announced in support of the group’s fifth full-length album of the same name, Arirang, which has generated five billion streams since its release in March, the most for an album released in 2026.

The group have drawn massive crowds around the world, with their North American leg drawing 1.92 million concertgoers across 31 sold-out shows, which ended in Los Angeles.

Their comeback concert, streamed on Netflix on March 21, drew 18.4 million viewers worldwide.
