How can I join the program?

The next CondéFuture cohort, class of 2029, launches in fall 2027. Applications will open in the spring and be available on our website.

Who is the program for?

The program is open to rising public high school juniors (entering 10th grade in September 2026) with an interest in arts, media, design or journalism in the New York City area.

Will students be paid for participating

Participants who maintain high attendance and participation will receive a stipend each year of the two year program.

Do students have to commit to the full two years?

Yes. All participating students must commit to the full two years. Students must maintain an 85% attendance rate in order to qualify for the full stipend.

When and where will the program take place?

The program participants will meet weekly on Wednesdays from October to the end of June each year, primarily at the Condé Nast offices at One World Trade Center. There will also be summer opportunities and projects between year one and two.

What will the time commitment look like?

Students should plan to spend approximately 5-8 hours per week on CondéFuture related meetings, opportunities, or project completion. 2-3 hours are spent in person on Wednesdays at the Condé Nast offices, and the other 3-5 hours is independent/group work time that is scheduled by students outside of program time. Programming follows the NYC DOE calendar for all breaks, but may require missing school for optional special events and opportunities.

How will participants be selected?

12 participants will be chosen based on their responses to the initial application and semi-finalists will complete a creative submission and interview. A Jury composed of Condé Nast staff will score the semifinalist application responses and creative submissions, and CondéFuture staff will make final decisions by early September.
