Naturally, the street style set was quick to embrace the look, styling the traditionally feminine staple in fresh ways throughout fashion month.

We saw it more than once with denim. Vogue’s executive fashion director Lisa Aiken, for example, gave Kallmeyer’s gilded jacquard jacket a daytime spin with wide-leg blue jeans and black pumps. British Vogue’s Chioma Nnadi, on the other hand, gave a pink lady jacket a maximalist feel by pairing it with a denim midiskirt and lace-up flats. Elsewhere on the streets of Paris, one model off-duty sported a classic black take with straight-leg blue jeans and, for an unexpected touch of luxury, elbow-length leather gloves.
