‘Simply Ina’ Cookbook Review – PureWow

Confession: I’m running out of ideas for feeding myself. I LOVE cooking for other people, but when it comes to the day-to-day meal prep slog, I’ve quit. There’s been a lot of bread and butter and crackers around my house lately, because I can’t move myself to follow a recipe with a billion ingredients and a pile of dishes that I’ll inevitably have to hand-wash later. (Ah, the luxury of a dishwasher…)

However, the Queen of “How Easy Is That?” is releasing her 14th cookbook, Simply Ina, on October 20, and I got my hands on an early copy. Garten has repeatedly said this book is about “barely cooking,” and in light of my conundrum, I figured I had nothing to lose. I let her, via Simply Ina, pack my lunch for a week. Below are the recipes I cooked, ranked on a scale of, what else? One to five Cosmos, her go-to cocktail. Cheers!
