Earlier this month Jonathan Taylor was left responding to a social media video his wife, Ayanna Chapman, posted to social media discussing a potential trade involving the Indianapolis Colts star running back.
Taylor admitted he saw the video, but didn’t think it would actually play into whether or not the Colts would actually trade their star player. Instead, he chalked it up to “everybody’s on Tiktok these days.”
“It’s been out there already, so I think her adding [to it] doesn’t really change anything,” Taylor said after the Colts’ 16-10 loss. “You know everybody’s on TikTok these days. So, you just gotta come into work and stay focused.”
Fast forward to Tuesday and Chapman is back with a new video.
Jonathan Taylor’s Wife Issues New Video
On Tuesday afternoon Chapman took to Tiktok with a new video reacting to the Colts’ decision to trade star offensive lineman Quenton Nelson to the Seattle Seahawks. Not long after the trade of Nelson, the Colts shipped star defensive lineman DeForest Buckner to the San Francisco 49ers.
Chapman isn’t sure anyone on the team is safe.
“Is literally anyone safe on this team? It feels like rookie year all over again. My mind is spiraling. What does this mean for my husband and I? Do I need to start packing our bags?” she asked.
She questioned if the family would even be able to spend their first Halloween together following the birth of their daughter.
“Are we going to be spending our daughter’s first Halloween together? Will we make it to gameday or was last week the last time my husband is putting on a Colts jersey? What are we going to do without Quenton Nelson?” she asked.
Taylor is the best player left on a roster that just traded its offensive and defensive cornerstones just hours apart.
