Haught made her second-ever runway appearance during The Ethereal Show at NYFW SS27, walking for designer Alex Teih.

New York Fashion Week is built on big moments, and for 2025 Maxim Models (formerly Maxim Cover Girl) competition winner Kira Haught, this September brought a major spotlight.
Haught made her second-ever runway appearance during The Ethereal Show at NYFW SS27, walking for designer Alex Teih as part of an immersive evening of fashion, art, music, and culture at Ace Hotel New York in Midtown Manhattan.

The milestone marked another chapter in Haught’s journey with Maxim Models—and offered a glimpse of the kinds of experiences the platform aims to create for its community beyond competition prizes.

Maxim Models also joined The Ethereal as an official partner and sponsor of the show, continuing the brand’s growing presence across New York Fashion Week and putting Maxim Models alongside an international mix of designers, models, and creators.

The Ethereal has built an identity by transcending traditional runway shows. The collective brings together artists, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals to produce multi-sensory experiences blending fashion, brands, music, performance, and art. Its productions are designed to turn the runway into a broader cultural experience while providing a platform for both emerging and established creative talent.
That vision came to life at the Ace Hotel. The evening began with a red carpet and VIP arrivals before moving into multiple runway presentations featuring couture, avant-garde, luxury ready-to-wear, and conceptual collections. The SS27 lineup included Eclipz Studio by Kiki Zuo, Urvi Selarka, Vellachor, Alex Teih, and Mary Witch x Creepyyeha, bringing a range of aesthetics and creative perspectives to the runway.

For Haught, the Alex Teih presentation provided the setting for her first walk at September’s New York Fashion Week. After stepping into the Maxim Models spotlight, she traded the photoshoot set for the runway and joined the designer’s presentation in front of a Fashion Week crowd.
The haute couture was only one piece of an extraordinary night. Live performances and entertainment were woven throughout the evening, while brand activations brought beauty, wellness, fashion, lifestyle, and technology into the experience. Designers, buyers, editors, stylists, creators, founders, influencers, and other industry figures filled the venue, turning the show into as much a networking destination as a runway presentation.

That intersection of creativity and connection is central to The Ethereal’s approach. The organization describes its mission as one of authentic expression, storytelling, collaboration, and community. The Ethereal brings brands and creatives together while pushing traditional fashion presentations toward more immersive territory.
For Maxim Models, the evening represented exactly where the platform is headed: creating opportunities that connect its community with fashion, travel, events, content, and real-world industry experiences.
