Leaves are brown and/or falling, which means cozy season has officially arrived. That means a good toque, jacket, and boots are musts for when you’re out and about, and a good heater, soft clothing, and a warm throw blanket are musts for time spent at home. Macy’s sells all of this stuff, of course, but its annual fall sale is home to a particularly good deal on a particularly good Wrangler blanket.
The Wrangler Flannel Oversized Throw is on sale for $22 at Macy’s, 60% off its normal $55 price tag. It comes in one size, 70 inches by 60 inches, and in a pattern Wrangler calls Dakota Ivory because it’s inspired by geometric indigenous American designs and is primarily off-white.

This throw is made of 100% polyester that’s engineered to be almost unnaturally soft. One side has an authentic geometric Wrangler design in blue and brown while the other is more explicitly Western, with a steer skull all-over print in brown on a white background. A signature Wrangler logo patch rounds out this blanket, which is nearly as big as a twin comforter — larger than the average throw. It’s the kind of piece that works well as part of a decor theme (a western-inspired room, in this case) or as one meant to stand out from its surroundings (as the most visually interesting piece amid otherwise more neutral decor, for instance).

One shopper wrote that this “soft and thick blanket” is “excellent for the price.” They added that it has a “great color and pattern, and bonus, it is reversible.” Another noted that they “got it for my son, and he loves it.” It’s easy to see why a lot of people would.

The Wrangler Flannel Oversized Throw is a cozy blanket that looks great in all sorts of decor. It would be a great value for $22 even if it wasn’t oversized and reversible, but those factors make it even more tempting to grab before this sale ends.
