‘YAGA’ Episode Release Schedule: When Do New Episodes Come Out?

Everything’s coming up Hudson Williams. The charismatic Heated Rivalry star is now headlining a new folk-horror series that’ll surely scare your socks off this spooky season. A Crave Original, YAGA has already aired its first two episodes, but not to worry—fans can stream the series stateside, and there are still six new episodes on the spine-tingling horizon.

About ‘YAGA’

For the uninitiated, “YAGA follows Rapp, a private investigator who arrives in a small coastal town to investigate the disappearance of a young heir to a powerful fishery, Henry Park. He finds himself at odds with an apprehensive local detective, Carson, a charismatic university professor with a taste for younger men, Katherine, and a labyrinth of enigmatic suspects, secret lives, and ancient magic.”

The supernatural drama stars Noah Reid as Rapp, Clark Backo as Carson, Carrie-Anne Moss as Katherine, and Hudson Williams as Henry Park/Logan Casey (talk about pulling double duty). The supporting cast includes Sheila McCarthy, Megan Follows, Ezra Franky, Patrick Gilmore, Katharine Isabelle, Hiro Kanagawa, Emilija Baranac, Georgia Acken, Anisa Harris, and Sam Krochmal.

YAGA hails from writer, showrunner, and executive producer Kat Sandler. It’s based on her hit play of the same name. Sandler puts her own twist on the Baba Yaga of Slavic folklore, a witch usually portrayed as a malevolent figure who feasts on children or a kindly older woman.

YAGA boasts 76% on the Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer and 92% on the Popcornmeter. Critical reception is mixed, with some praising the show’s depiction of sex and dark desires while others take aim at its “tonal imbalance, lackluster protagonist, and unimpressive script.”
