Christmas is coming early for National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation fans. Chevy Chase is getting back together with Beverly D’Angelo and Randy Quaid for a special screening of the beloved holiday comedy, followed by a live Q&A with all three stars.
Chase announced the upcoming event on Instagram, telling fans, “Come see me, @officialbeverlydangelo and Randy” at Foxwoods in Connecticut on Dec. 5. He added that the evening would include a screening of Christmas Vacation followed by a live Q&A with the three cast members.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 5, at 8 p.m. at the Premier Theater at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut. According to Foxwoods, attendees will watch the movie before hearing directly from Chase, D’Angelo and Quaid and having an opportunity to ask questions.
Chevy Chase, Beverly D’Angelo and Randy Quaid Are Reuniting
The three actors have a pretty important place in the Vacation franchise.
Chase played Clark Griswold, D’Angelo played his wife Ellen, and Quaid played Clark’s memorable cousin Eddie in the 1989 holiday classic. The movie was the third installment in the National Lampoon’s Vacation series and was released in December 1989.
More than three decades later, Christmas Vacation remains a holiday staple. D’Angelo previously told People that she never expected the movie to become such a lasting part of American culture, saying audiences ultimately recognized themselves in the Griswold family.
The cast has also continued to reunite at fan events over the years. Chase, D’Angelo and Quaid were among the Christmas Vacation stars who appeared together at Fan Expo Chicago in 2025.
When Is the ‘Christmas Vacation’ Screening at Foxwoods?
The special screening and Q&A will take place Dec. 5, 2026, at 8 p.m. at the Premier Theater at Foxwoods Resort Casino.
Foxwoods describes it as an exclusive screening of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation followed by a conversation with Chase, D’Angelo and Quaid.
With the holidays just around the corner, it is difficult to imagine a more appropriate time for the Griswolds to make another appearance.
