The Cotopaxi Trico Hybrid Hooded Jacket is on sale for $100 at Nordstrom Rack, 42% off its normal $175 price tag. It comes in two colorways, Deep Sea that’s an amalgamation of different shades of blue and Seed, which collects varying shades of chartreuse. Each has the same black and white Cotopaxi label and orange zippered pocket on the chest.

Ironically enough for something that’s stitched together from lots of different pieces, this entire jacket is made of polyester — it’s just that the adventure-ready material takes on many different forms. It’s a super soft fleece on the lower torso, arms, and left chest; a water-resistant quilted material on the hood, right chest, and upper back; and a warming but not too thick insulation throughout. That orange zipper is a small but impact pop of color, while the front zip and hood allows you to feel as cool or warm in this jacket as the weather demands.
