Netflix is constantly updating its streaming library, adding and subtracting new shows and movies throughout each month.
There are already some reports about what content is coming to the platform in November, including all six seasons of an immensely popular crime drama series.
Power is coming to Netflix soon
According to What’s on Netflix’s Kasey Moore, all six seasons and 63 episodes of the series Power are Netflix-bound on Nov. 9.
“Created by Courtney A. Kemp and executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, this hit Starz crime drama follows James “Ghost” St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick), a wealthy New York City nightclub owner living a double life as a ruthless drug kingpin,” Moore said. “As he attempts to leave the criminal underworld behind to build a legitimate empire, his ambitions are threatened by law enforcement, dangerous rivals, and complicated loyalties. Also stars Joseph Sikora, Naturi Naughton, and Lela Loren.”
Power originally aired on Starz from June 7, 2014-Feb. 9, 2020. In addition to the actors named above, the series also featured several other prominent names, including Kathrine Narducci, Andy Bean, Larenz Tate, Brandon Victor Dixon and Jerry Ferrara.
Rapper Kendrick Lamar and Grey’s Anatomy star Jesse Williams also made guest appearances in later seasons.
The show earned critical acclaim
Power won Outstanding Drama Series at the NAACP Image Awards in 2018 and 2019, with Hardwick taking home Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series in 2018 and 2020 and Naughton winning Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2017 and 2018.
Overall, the show has an 81% approval rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, which is impressive considering its inaugural season only earned 44% critical support. Power also has a 61 out of 100 score (“Generally Favorable”) on Metacritic, based on 21 critical reviews.
The series is also rated 8.1/10 on IMDb.
