Where Todd Rundgren Will Be Supporting Toto
When Toto hits the road in 2027, their concerts in Ireland and the U.K. will feature Todd Rundgren as their opening act. Another classic rock icon, Rundgren is best known as a solo artist who released hit songs like “Hello It’s Me,” “I Saw the Light,” “Can We Still Be Friends,” and more.

Known as the Dogz of Oz, the touring group also includes Warren Ham, John Pierce, Keith Carlock, Dennis Atlas, and Rai Thistlethwayte. Together, they will presumably perform Toto’s biggest hits:
- “Hold the Line” (1978)

As part of the announcement about the band’s 50th Anniversary Tour on Toto’s website, Toto co-founder and current member Steve Lukather reflected on the upcoming concerts. In addition to addressing why touring Europe is meaningful for Toto, he also touched on what fans can expect from the shows.
“From the earliest stages of our career, the U.K. and Europe has supported Toto. There is a mutual affection between us and the entire continent. I can’t wait to bring them a great show featuring Joe, myself and a band comprised of world-class musicians. It’s going to be a great time for everyone in the venues come Summer.”
