Maluma brought Colombian star power and a little shimmer to the stage during Shakira’s historic Madrid residency.
The singer joined Shakira at her Oct. 11 concert in Madrid, surprising more than 50,000 fans gathered at the temporary Estadio Shakira at Macondo Park. The appearance united the longtime collaborators for two songs and gave Maluma another chance to showcase his increasingly confident approach to menswear.
For the performance, Maluma wore the Lurex Stripe Long Sleeve Shirt from AMIRI’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection. He paired the shimmering shirt with MA Fit Trousers from the fashion house’s Autumn/Winter 2026 collection and completed the outfit with metallic Gold Ryder Boots.
Stylist Stephanie Escobar is behind this AMIRI look. The striped shirt delivered movement and shine under the concert lights, while the tailored trousers kept the outfit polished. The gold boots provided its boldest finishing touch.

Shakira welcomed the Medellín-born artist to the stage, announcing, “Ladies and gentlemen, Maluma,” and immediately drawing cheers from the audience.
The pair revisited “Chantaje,” their 2016 hit that became one of the defining collaborations of their careers. They also delivered the first live performance of “Agua,” their tropical, merengue-influenced single released in September.
Maluma and Shakira have previously collaborated on tracks including “Trap” and “Clandestino,” building an onstage chemistry that has remained recognizable nearly a decade after “Chantaje.”
Following the Madrid performance, Maluma spoke about the personal connection behind their work during an appearance on the Spanish television program El Hormiguero. He described Shakira as a close friend and said they share a special energy whenever they perform together.
The appearance came during Shakira’s ambitious run of Madrid concerts for her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour. The residency attracted hundreds of thousands of fans across multiple dates and featured appearances from several notable artists.
Maluma’s surprise arrival delivered one of the residency’s major musical reunions. His AMIRI wardrobe ensured the moment also carried the visual impact required for a stadium-sized stage.
