A distinctive dresser since his Odd Future days, the rapper, singer, producer and fashion designer previously lent his design talents to classic Converse silhouettes like the Chuck 70 and the Naut-1 boat shoe starting in 2017. Other Tyler, the Creator sneakers now include secondary market hits like the Converse 1908 Jogger (available now at resale sites like StockX).

His latest limited run with the iconic sneaker brand revamps the 1970s-era Pro Leather Sneaker in a streetwear-ready build featuring a wide toe and cap, plus oversized laces and vibrant color options. The kicks are dubbed the Golf Le Fleur* Pro Leather in a nod to Tyler, his luxury fashion and accessories brand, which launched in 2021.

Four new colorways mark the arrival of the highly affordable Converse Golf Le Fleur* Pro Leather lineup, including Molten Lava and Blue, a “Bison and Banana” color scheme that speaks to popular 1970s tones, and both an Amazon-and-Lavender duo and a more straightforward Black and off-white combination. Each are priced at $105 while “taking cues from breakdance style and bootleg culture,” the sneaker giant said.

The California-born “ARE WE STILL FRIENDS?” performer is no stranger to the world of fashion collabs, working with F1 legend Lewis Hamilton on a 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix capsule collection. Streetwear fans understandably snapped up his Fall/Winter 2024 collaborative pieces with legendary New York City brand Supreme.

For this latest run, which should add depth to wide-leg denim and cargo pants this fall season, Converse notes the lineup “combines hand-picked archival design details with exaggerated proportions, pushing the classic silhouette to fresh new heights—and widths.”

The industrious star has stayed busy, releasing 2025 hit album “Don’t Tap the Glass” before embarking on a run of select shows ending this past March in Puerto Rico. And with a partnership stretching on nearly 10 years with the acclaimed, pioneering sneaker brand, it appears Tyler’s partnership with Converse should carry on through future seasons.

Fashion and streetwear site Kick The Concrete notes “we still see him in Converse all the time.” What might that mean future interpretations of classic Converse sneakers is a mystery for now, but at the moment, new pairs of the Golf Le Fleur* Pro Leather are available online at the brand for an agreeable price.
