42: The answer to life, deep space, and every little thing.

I’ve waited a lot of years to be able to reference The Hitchhiker’s Overview to the Galaxy for a birthday celebration blog post. I would certainly initially review it in my very early twenties throughout college. Now … it is done. I’m formally 42 I don’t understand that I know anymore of the answers than I did the other day or the day prior to that and even a year back.
But I do know that it’s been a good year until now. A large year, truly. So huge that I have not had the time to sit down and update my blog site here with any one of my latest journeys.
For starters, I guess it’s time to formally reveal that I wedded Ashley Technically, we tied the knot on December 31, 2025 And we have actually spent the last 4 months building our lives and our new home together. So … yep … an active year so far.
We started a brand-new orchard and grew new garden beds. We have actually been discovering native plant types on the home. We also developed a poultry yard for our now-growing group (in fact, we just picked up 3 brand-new pullets today, bringing us as much as eight). We have thousands of honeybees, a solitary pet, and six pet cats in total.
Yeah, I ‘d claim life is pretty good. The new experience is simply getting started.
I have a couple of ideas that I want to start exploring for the young homestead this year that I hope will certainly set us up for the long-term. But I’ll conserve those thoughts for an additional day.
Or else, the majority of my normal objectives are still on the right track. Health is great. I still have all ten fingers and toes. And I’m still making every effort to boost every day.
