Sydney Sweeney’s Plunging Floral Dress Photos Revealed

On October 28, 2026, photos of Sydney Sweeney filming The Housemaid’s Secret on city streets in New Jersey were published by The U.S. Sun. The images showed the actor wearing a black dress that had a floral pattern, with an open white button-up sweater over it. The dress had a plunging neckline and an open-leg slit. The small tease of what moviegoers will see in the sequel hinted that it is likely to recreate the steamy tone that helped make the 2025 original film a major hit.

The Housemaid is an erotic thriller that stars Sweeney as an ex-convict who takes a live-in housekeeping job for a wealthy couple before having an affair with the husband. The film became a major hit for Sweeney at the box office since it brought in more than $400 million worldwide on an estimated $35 million budget. Its sexy and unsettling storyline also later turned it into a streaming behemoth.

After becoming an overwhelming success, The Housemaid, which stars Sweeney, Amanda Seyfried, and Brandon Sklenar, was greenlit for a sequel. The newly published photos hint that the follow-up film will be just as steamy as the original, if not more so, making another box office success seem likely.

In June 2025, Sweeney was asked about filming nude and revealing scenes while talking to W Magazine for a profile. During that discussion, she explained why she embraces showing off her figure for her roles in films like The Housemaid’s Secret. “I don’t get nervous. I think that the female body is a very powerful thing. And I’m telling my character’s story, so I owe it to them to tell it well and to do what needs to be done.”
